FishVigil automatically tracks and logs daily catch counts, boat activity, and angler data from 14 sportfishing landings across San Diego and Los Angeles — including Davey's Locker, Dana Wharf, Fisherman's Landing, H&M Landing, Point Loma, Seaforth, Helgren's Oceanside, Newport Landing, and the LA-area landings. The goal is a continuous, research-grade record of species abundance and fishing pressure, available to scientists and researchers studying long-term trends in our coastal fisheries.
